Health Impacts of Employment: a review
Hard hats

This is the first in a series of health impact reviews which explore the links between identified areas and health. This review illustrates the links between employment and health. Specific attention is given to the impact of types of employment on health and also how unemployment affects health.

The review has an extensive reference list. To supplement the health impacts of employment review a ‘sources of information’ list has been developed which highlights a number of organisations whose work considers issues relevant to the relationship between health and employment.
