Sustrans are organising a lunch debate to discuss the subject of women and cycling in Belfast.
The event will take place on October 22nd between 12.30pm and 2pm at Ormeau Baths, Ormeau Avenue. You can register for the event here.
Research shows that 80% of women never cycle in Belfast, while the proportion of men cycling to women is 3:1.
The panel includes;

- DFI Inspector Rosie Leech, PSNI Roads Policing Unit.
IPH has supported policy development in relation to the introduction of 30km/h zones in Dublin, and also 20mph zones in Belfast. The organisation has also supported cycling policy throughout the island, including the long term strategy for cycling in Northern Ireland.
