An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, Minister for Health, Simon Harris TD and Minister of State for Health Promotion and the National Drug Strategy, Catherine Byrne TD gathered in Phoenix Park, Dublin to launch Healthy Ireland’s summer campaign. Themed “Feel Good Together”, the awareness campaign encourages people to make positive lifestyle changes that will improve their physical and mental health and wellbeing.
Guided by the original “Eat Well, Think Well, Be Well” theme, this campaign encourages people to partner up with family, friends and neighbours to make the positive behaviour change to improve their health. Working with a partner has been shown to increase sustainable behaviour change.
The campaign will use various forms of media over the summer months and asks Healthy Ireland network partners to share the Feel Good Together message across their platforms.
IPH is in a member of the Healthy Ireland network, recently attending the Healthy Ireland networking event on May 09.
