The Public Health Agency NI (PHA) and partners (Centre of Excellence for Public Health NI, The Institute of Public Health in Ireland (IPH), (Department of Health (NI), Department of Health (RoI), and the Health Service Executive) are organising a one day conference to share learning and facilitate discussion on early intervention in public health in Ireland, North and South.
Keynote speakers: Professor Frank Kee, Director, UKCRC Centre of Excellence for Public Health NI” and “Acting Director, Centre for Public Health, Queen’s University Belfast
Professor Martin McKee, Professor of European Public Health, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
Workshops will run during the day with ten workshops covering a range of public health topics: Early Years Intervention, Early Intervention in Teenage Years, Early Intervention in Adults, Early Intervention in the Elderly, Early Intervention in Prevention and Treatment of Illness.
