In CHRODIS, partners from 26 European Member States worked together to identify, validate, exchange and disseminate good practice on chronic diseases.
IPH and the Health Service Executive represented Ireland in work package five. IPH concluded its involvement in CHRODIS in March 2017.
IPH will be working with our partner, the HSE, representing Ireland in CHRODIS PLUS from September 2017 to 2020. CHRODIS PLUS aims to support the transfer of effective policies and programmes, as relevant to the primary prevention of diabetes, stroke and cardiovascular disease, from one European member state to another.
- Conclude IPH commitments on CHRODIS 1 including final reports, submission of final content to Platform for Knowledge Exchange.
- Initiate role on work package 4 of CHRODIS 2 and develop agreed programme of work for period 2017-2020.
- Implementation of tasks and actions in CHRODIS 2 as per the agreed programme of work.
- Design and deliver on legacy project from CHRODIS 1 in partnership with the Health Service Executive.
