Cooperation and Working Together (CAWT) Health Inequalities Database
A new resource has been added to the IPH eLibrary.
The projects on Co-operation and Working Together’s (CAWT) Health Inequalities Database have been added to the IPH eLibrarys Thematic Collections. CAWT is a cross border health and social care partnership comprising the border counties of the Health Service Executive in the Republic of Ireland and the Southern and Western Health and Social Services Boards in Northern Ireland. CAWT manages a range of cross border health and social care programmes. This collection, from CAWT’s Health Inequalities Database, is comprised of projects that are tackling health inequalities in the CAWT region.
A cross border, multi-sector group was established, with the specific aim of identifying and raising awareness of health inequalities in the border region and co-ordinating a response to reduce them. Under the management of CAWT the database brings together projects from both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland from the community sector, health services and other statutory agencies.
