International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI)
Institute of Public Health in Ireland (IPH) is a member of the International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI).
IANPHI is a global venture dedicated to strengthening global public health capacity by strengthening and linking national public health institutes – or NPHIs.
IANPHI was established in 2002 through a grant from The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. IANPHI aims to optimize the delivery of core public health functions and improve health outcomes worldwide through a global alliance of NPHIs.
Through a distinctive peer-to-peer approach, IANPHI works to:
- Help low-resource countries develop or enhance NPHIs
- Promote opportunities for collaboration and advocacy among all NPHIs
