Start: 13 Nov 2007 - 10:45

End: 13 Nov 2007 - 15:30

10:45 am Registration

11:00 am Launch of "All-Ireland Health Data Inventory. Part 1: Metadata for Key Data Sources"

Too often across the island we hear the plea "Can someone just tell me what data are available?" Using agreed metadata standards, this Inventory describes over 150 selected data sources from both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.  At this seminar we launch the Inventory and describe its key features and how it is being disseminated through the All-Ireland electronic Health Library (AIeHL).

11:45 am Next stages in the formal development of the Health Data Inventory

INIsPHO produced Part I of the Inventory in order to stimulate and support the formal development of a more comprehensive Health Data Inventory that covers the island of Ireland, both North and South.

In this part of the programme, delegates are invited to participate in a facilitated discussion of the next steps in the development of the Inventory.
